Al-eesa NA, et al. - Here, the authors developed a novel bioactive glass (BAG) resin and examined pH changes and ion release in 3 immersion media. Favourable ions F, Ca and PO4 releases were maintained over a long time period particularly in acidic condition for this novel BAG-resin composite, unlike glass ionomer resins. This demonstrated that the resin had the potential to prevent formation and progression of early caries lesions.
