Factors inducing decreased oocyte maturation rate: A retrospective analysis of 20,939 ICSI cycles

Archives of Gynecology and Obstetrics Jan 09, 2019

Lin Y, et al. - In IVF/ICSI cycles, decreased oocyte maturation rate (OMR) is linked with worse clinical outcomes, so researchers sought which factors influence the incidence of decreased OMR and its impact on clinical outcomes. They analyzed data from 20,939 ICSI cycles in a reproductive center of university affiliated hospital from January 2015 to December 2017. As per the outcomes of this retrospective case-control study, factors that could affect OMR were primary infertility, duration of infertility, BMI, previous assisted reproductive times, number of oocytes retrieved and COH protocol.
