Factors associated with work productivity among people with COPD: Birmingham COPD Cohort

Rai KK, et al. - This study examined the determinants of work productivity among chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) patients. Researchers reported that the only factor associated with both absenteeism and presenteeism was increasing dyspnoea. Furthermore, it was noted that increasing history of occupational exposure to vapours, gases, dusts or fumes (VGDF) was independently associated with presenteeism.
