Factors affecting the response rate of frequency volume chart: A prospective nonrandomized controlled study

Oh CK, et al. - Individuals ≥ 18 years of age with voiding dysfunction reported from July 2013 to February 2014 were enrolled in this study in order to assess whether compliance with frequency volume charts could be enhanced if a physician described its significance and to recognize factors influencing compliance and accurate responses to frequency volume chart. one hundred and thirty-seven persons were recruited. It was observed that if physicians explain its importance for lower urinary tract symptoms diagnosis and management, frequency volume chart compliance could be enhanced. Moreover, the factors influencing compliance are the explanation and severe lower urinary tract symptoms and the explanation and being 60's years old are associated with an exact response.
