Ramírez-Vélez R, et al. - Researchers performed a randomized controlled trial to assess the benefits of physical exercise during pregnancy on maternal lipids in low-income Latina women. It was observed that exercise during the second and third trimester of pregnancy in sedentary women reduced excessive low-density lipoprotein cholesterol and triglyceride gain and favoured fewer delivery and neonatal complications.
