Evaluation of the effect of corneal collagen cross-linking for keratoconus on the ocular higher-order aberrations

El–Massry AA, et al. – The variations in the ocular higher–order aberrations (HOAs) were identified during this research, after corneal collagen cross–linking (CXL). This study also gauged its association with changes in visual acuity. A decrease was noted in the total HOAs, total coma, and spherical aberrations after CXL. Coma exhibited a direct correlation with the improvement of visual function.
