Barkat MT, et al. - Authors assessed the effectiveness of intralesional injection of bleomycin in the treatment of plantar warts based on clinical and dermoscopic observations. Findings suggested an efficacy and safety of intralesional injection of bleomycin as a treatment of plantar warts. Because of the ability of the dermoscope to accurately tell if the wart needs further treatment, to prevent premature stoppage of the treatment, thus decrease the possibility of recurrences, it was recommended in the evaluation of treatment success.
