Wang B, et al. - Authors estimated the data to delineate the clinical consequences of one-stage combined anterior and posterior surgical treatment method for atlantoaxial tuberculosis with neurological impairment. They recorded an average of 529.2 ± 169.8 ml of intraoperative blood loss. During the follow-up of 6.5 ± 2.9 years, they observed no instrumentation loosening, migration or breakage. According to the American Spinal Injury Association (ASIA) grading system, the neurological function of all 12 subjects was recovered to Class E.
