Plebani R, et al. – The topic of exploration here was the mechanisms of human cystic fibrosis (CF) endothelial cells (EC). During this research, the endothelial cells were isolated for the first time from CF patients. A valuable tool was yielded, which defined the emerging role of EC in CF lung and vascular disease.
