European Journal of Obstetrics & Gynecology and Reproductive Biology Feb 24, 2019
Lin T, et al. - Performing this systematic review and meta-analysis, researchers sought to determine the efficacy of enoxaparin to prevent recurrent miscarriage. The meta-analysis included 3 randomized controlled trials (RCTs) indicating no marked impact of enoxaparin treatment on live births, miscarriage rate, gestational age, birth weight when compared with control intervention for recurrent miscarriage, however, it led to an increase in pre-eclampsia. These findings suggest no additional benefits enoxaparin treatment for women with recurrent miscarriage.
