Siedlecki J, et al. - The feasibility and outcomes of surface ablation after small incision lenticule extraction (SMILE) is reported in this study. Combined with the intraoperative application of mitomycin C, surface ablation appears to be a safe and successful method of secondary enhancement after SMILE. Because of the usually low residual myopia, the ASA profile is not suggested in these cases.
