Fichman Y, et al. - This prospective blinded study was performed to evaluate whether the human papillomavirus (HPV) subtype was predictive of response to pulsed dye laser (PDL). No association between HPV type and response to PDL therapy could be established in this study. Therefore, PDL therapy was equally effective for all HPV types and remained a favorable treatment option for all verruca vulgaris (VV).
