International Journal of Dental Hygiene May 05, 2018
Hennequin-Hoenderdos NL, et al. - Authors ascertained the effectiveness of rubber bristles interdental cleaner (RBIC) vs an interdental brush (IDB) in reducing gingivitis. They also assessed the attitudes of the participants and possible side effects. In reducing gingival inflammation, the RBIC, in conjunction with manual toothbrushing, was found to be more effective in accessible sites after 4 weeks. Experts noted that less abrasion of the gingiva was caused by the RBIC and participants appreciated it more.
