BMC Gastroenterology Feb 01, 2018
Nowicki TK, et al. - Researchers conducted this prospective cohort study to compare the efficacy of contrast-enhanced CT and MRI with the use of hepatotropic contrast agent gadoxetic acid and gadobenate dimeglumine (Gd-BOPTA) in the differentiation of focal nodular hyperplasia (FNH) from other focal liver lesions (FLLs) in patients with equivocal foci detected in ultrasonography. In the differential diagnosis of FNH, Gd-BOPTA-enhanced MRI was found to be more effective method than multi-phase CT.
