Bitkin A, et al. - Authors assessed the structural changes in testicles of patients with varicocele by strain elastography (SE) and identified the association between semen analysis and hormone levels considering SE results. Considering the volume between the right and left testicles in either group, no difference was found. Findings suggested the probable utility of elastography to detect the damage caused by varicocele on testicles in the early period. In the varicocele group, the median resistive index (RI) value was 0.59; it was 0.52 in the control group.
