Kroska EB, et al. – This study investigated the impacts of traumatic experiences on obsessive–compulsive (OC) and internalizing symptoms. Experiential avoidance and mindfulness processes could be the mechanisms through which the relationship between trauma and obsessive–compulsive and trauma and internalizing symptoms were found in adolescents. These findings present potential targets for clinical intervention to improve results for adolescents who have experienced trauma.
