Lok LSC, et al. – The hypothesis examined here was that tocilizumab (TCZ) reduced the circulating neutrophils by affecting margination and/or bone marrow trafficking, without influencing the neutrophil function or apoptosis. It was deduced that IL–6R blockade exerted an impact on the neutrophil trafficking to the bone marrow without affecting the neutrophil functional capacity.
