Myers SP, et al. – The safety and efficacy of Fucus vesiculosus were examined in the reduction of symptoms of osteoarthritis (OA) of the hip and knee. Outcomes approved that the F. vesiculosus fucoidan extract was safe and well tolerated. However, at a dose of 300 mg, the extract displayed no difference in reduction of OA symptoms from the placebo.
