Kim SJ, et al. - With an intent to determine the therapeutic impacts of bone marrow aspirate concentration (BMAC)-platelet rich plasma (PRP) on partial tear of the rotator cuff tendon, researchers herein compared the clinical course of rotator cuff tears between rotator cuff exercise and BMAC-PRP injection. In patients with partial tear of the rotator cuff tendon, improvement in pain and shoulder function were noted as a consequence of receiving injection of BMAC-PRP.
