Al Hamarneh YN, et al. - This study sought to appraise the effectiveness of pharmacist interventions on cardiovascular (CV) risk in patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD). It was reported that CV risk was reduced and control of individual CV risk factors was improved by a community pharmacyÂbased intervention. This finding represented a promising approach to identifying and managing patients with CKD that could have important public health implications.
