Demarche SF, et al. - The upshot of inhaled corticosteroids (ICS) was comprehensively examined in this trial, on airway and systemic inflammation as well as on clinical outcomes in patients with asthma from clinical practice. The effectiveness of ICS on eosinophilic inflammation was affirmed in real life. Their clinical benefit was possibly restricted to eosinophilic asthmatics. The findings supported a try for stepping-down ICS in non-eosinophilic asthmatics.
