Castle PE, et al. - Researchers strived to estimate the cervical cancer risk in routine practice after successive negative screening co-tests at 3-year intervals. Based on the findings, it was deduced that longer screening intervals (every 5 years or more) could be feasible and safe, after 1 or more negative cervical co-tests (or human papillomavirus (HPV) tests).
