Eudy AM, et al. - Experts aimed to assess the impact of pregnancy on the flares of systemic lupus erythematosus in a large cohort of pregnant and non-pregnant women with lupus. Findings suggested that during pregnancy and within the 3 months postpartum, the incidence of the flare was increased. Nonetheless, the risk of flare during and after pregnancy was noted to be reduced by continuing hydroxychloroquine (HCQ).
