Effect of low-level laser therapy on postoperative pain in molars with symptomatic apical periodontitis: A randomized placebo-controlled clinical trial
Journal of Endodontics Aug 29, 2018
Yildiz ED, et al. - Experts assessed the impact of low-level laser therapy (LLLT) on postoperative pain in mandibular molar teeth with symptomatic apical periodontitis. Findings suggested that in reducing postoperative pain in endodontics, LLLT can be beneficial. On days 1 and 3, lower pain levels resulted with LLLT vs those noted in the control and placebo groups. In terms of postoperative percussion pain levels, no significant differences were seen among the placebo, LLLT, and control groups.
