Effect of intravitreal conbercept treatment on the expression of Long Noncoding RNAs and mRNAs in Proliferative Diabetic Retinopathy Patients
Acta Ophthalmologica Mar 27, 2019
Wang J, et al. - Investigators estimated the impact of conbercept on the expression of long noncoding RNAs (lncRNAs) and mRNAs in subjects with fibrovascular membranes of proliferative diabetic retinopathy (PDR). They recognized 427 differentially expressed lncRNAs including 263 upregulated and 164 downregulated. They observed significant differences in gene expression, including gluconeogenesis, HIF-1 signaling pathway, NOD-like receptor pathway, etc, in 16 pathways indicated by Kyoto Encyclopaedia of Genes and Genomes (KEGG) results. They noted the involvement of lincRNAs–coexpressed mRNAs in PDR-related biological processes and pathological pathways. They suggested changes in expression profiles of lncRNAs and mRNAs in the fibrovascular membranes of PDR cases due to conbercept therapy.
