ELsyad MA, et al. - The influence of implant position on clinical and radiographic outcomes of Locator-retained mandibular overdentures was assessed by the researchers. This short-term study suggested that over the first premolar position, the canine position for implants retaining mandibular overdentures with Locator attachments was preferred because it was related to reduced peri-implant pocket depth and marginal bone loss after 1 year.
