Simental-Mendía LE, Sánchez-García A, Linden-Torres E, et al. - Researchers conducted the study for analyzing the impact of glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor agonist (GLP-1 RA) on both leptin and resistin levels. The present systematic review and meta-analysis involved randomized controlled trials examining the impact of GLP-1 RA on leptin and resistin concentrations. The sample consisted of 1,025 individuals. According to the findings of this meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials, GLP-1 RA therapy decreases both leptin and resistin levels.
