Simonsen CZ, et al. - The effect of type of anesthesia during endovascular therapy (EVT) on infarct growth and clinical outcome was investigated in this study. When compared with conscious sedation (CS), general anesthesia (GA) did not result in worse tissue or clinical outcomes for patients who underwent thrombectomy for acute ischemic stroke caused by large vessel occlusions in the anterior circulation.
