Mark DB, et al. - In 2,204 patients with atrial fibrillation (AF), researchers ascertained if catheter ablation is more beneficial than conventional drug therapy for improving patient quality of life. Catheter ablation, compared with medical therapy, resulted in clinically important and significant improvements in quality of life at 12 months in patients with symptomatic AF. These findings may help guide AF management decisions.
