Iizumi T, et al. – The current study examined the impacts of body posture on chewing duration prior to the first swallow and patterns of mastication–related EMG activity. Results of this study suggested that position–dependent changes in chewing behaviors, as described by chewing duration and EMG activity, could vary among members.
