Chen YW, et al. - Experts evaluated the effectiveness of adjuvant drug therapy after varicocelectomy. Findings suggested insignificant improvement in pregnancy rate after adjuvant drug therapy, but sperm concentration and motility at 3 months, sperm DNA integrity and serum FSH level were significantly improved. Hence, they noted an association of the adjuvant drug therapy, especially the use of antioxidants vs no medical treatment with better fertility outcome.
