Klitkou ST, et al. - The target here was to gauge the education-specific survival after acute myocardial infarction. In addition, it compared this with the survival of corresponding groups in the general cohort. A positive link was noted between the patient survival and relative survival after acute myocardial infarction with educational level. Hence, secondary prevention was found to be more effective for the highly educated.
