Journal of Arthroplasty Jun 15, 2018
Oh SM, et al. - Researchers gauged the association between the severity of preoperative varus deformity and longevity of neutral-aligned total knee arthroplasty (TKAs). Respectively, in mild, moderate, severe, and very severe varus groups, the cumulative survival rates of neutral-aligned TKAs at 10 years were 97.4%, 99.0%, 97.8%, and 96.9%. Over 10 years, the survival rates of neutral-aligned TKAs were not affected by the severity of preoperative varus deformity.
