Does achievement of hemostasis after pulp exposure provide an accurate assessment of pulp inflammation?

Mutluay M, et al. - In primary molars with carious exposures, experts assessed if hemostasis at the site of the exposure and pulp orifice represented inflammatory status of the pulp at the canal orifice based on cytokine levels. Accurate evaluation of inflammation at the canal orifice was not provided by controlling the bleeding at exposure site or canal orifices. In primary teeth with a carious pulp exposure, this could be misleading for diagnosing vital pulp treatment.
