Distinguishing white dot syndromes with patterns of choroidal hypoperfusion on optical coherence tomography angiography
Ophthalmic Surgery, Lasers and Imaging Aug 19, 2017
Wang JC, et al. – This study is performed to compare patterns of choroidal hypoperfusion in white dot syndromes (WDS) utilizing optical coherence tomography angiography (OCTA). OCTA can identify different patterns of choroidal hypoperfusion in acute posterior multifocal placoid pigment epitheliopathy (APMPPE), birdshot chorioretinopathy (BCR), presumed ocular histoplasmosis syndrome (POHS), and multiple evanescent white dot syndrome (MEWDS), which appears to be a shared feature of WDS.
