JAMA Ophthalmology Jan 17, 2018
Han YS, et al. - This research was executed in order to demonstrate the significance of categorizing the causes of uveitis in patients with uveitis and cardiac sarcoidosis. The intention was to distinguish sarcoidosis from idiopathic uveitis. Data recommended the analysis of patients older than 40 years, with a history of idiopathic uveitis using chest computed tomography and an electrocardiogram, if sarcoidosis was advised on ophthalmic examination. Moreover, results illustrated the potential utility of distinguishing sarcoidosis-associated uveitis from idiopathic uveitis.
