Distance-saturation product of the 6-minute walk test predicts mortality of patients with non-cystic fibrosis bronchiectasis
Journal of Thoracic Disease Oct 09, 2017
Hsieh MH, et al. - This prospective examination aimed to determine correlations between variables of 6-minute walk test (6MWT) [exercise-induced oxygen desaturation (EID) and distance-saturation product (DSP)] and mortality in patients with bronchiectasis over a 6-year period. Findings indicated that DSP represents a simple predictor of 6-year mortality in patients with non-cystic fibrosis (non-CF) bronchiectasis.
