Das R, et al. - The purpose of this research was to analyze the correlations between diabetic retinopathy (DR) severity, retinal morphology on spectral-domain optical coherence tomography (SD-OCT), and visual acuity in the management of patients with diabetic macular edema (DME). It was noted that disorganization of the inner retinal layers (DRIL) and disruption of the outer retina were associated with increasing DR severity.
