Journal of Cosmetic Dermatology Sep 02, 2017

Unal M – The prime focus of this study was the contemplation of the relationship between digit ratio 2D:4D and androgenetic alopecia (AGA). The findings exhibited lower left–hand digit ratio 2D:4D in AGA patients. Hence, this method could be used as an estimation tool for AGA development in future. No association existed between digit ratio and age of onset. Moreover, digit ratio 2D:4D and AGA severity also did not exhibit any link.
