Zheng Y, et al. - This trial intended to disclose the clinical course and outcomes of myasthenia gravis (MG) in patients with thymic lymphoid hyperplasia and thymoma undergoing extended thymectomy. It also entailed the determination of the clinical prognostic factors of remission for MG. Based on the results, it was inferred that thymic lymphoid hyperplasia and severe symptoms could exert a negative impact on the prognosis of MG following thymectomy.
