Diagnostic value of anteroposterior diameter of renal pelvis for predicting postnatal surgery: A systematic review and meta-analysis
The Journal of Urology Jul 10, 2018
Zhang L, et al. - Researchers assessed the diagnostic value of anteroposterior diameter (APD) of fetal renal pelvis in predicting postnatal surgery. Moderate diagnostic value for predicting postnatal surgery was demonstrated by using 15 mm APD of fetal renal pelvis as the cutoff. They noted an association of postnatal APD with higher diagnostic odds ratio (DOR) for predicting postnatal surgery as compared with prenatal APD; as seen on subgroup analysis.
