Hewer E, et al. – The intent here was to inspect the diagnostic implications of TERT promoter mutation status, in diffuse gliomas. These mutations defined a considerably homogeneous core group among IDH (isocitrate dehydrogenase)–wildtype diffuse gliomas in a routine diagnostic setting. It encompassed majority of the primary glioblastomas as well as their putative precursor lesions.
