Maddy AJ, et al. - In order to ascertain the dermoscopic features of onychotillomania, authors conducted a retrospective study of the dermoscopy images of patients affected by onychotillomania. As per the data, the characteristic findings of onychotillomania were absence of the nail plate (seen in 83.3% patients) with multiple obliquely oriented nail bed hemorrhages (in 63.9%, nail bed gray pigmentation (in 47.2%), and presence of wavy line (in 69.4%) and these findings were not seen in other nail diseases.
