Cytokine signature associated with disease severity in chronic fatigue syndrome patients

Montoya JG, et al. – The physicians explored the role of cytokine in myalgic encephalomyelitis/chronic fatigue syndrome (ME/CFS). They explained that most of the cytokines were proinflammatory and probably contributed to many of the symptoms of chronic fatigue syndrome. However, CXCL9 (MIG) was inversely correlated with fatigue duration.
