Lipner SR - The intent of the experts was to inspect the efficacy of cryolipolysis for the treatment of submental fat, which was a common cosmetic concern. The inference drawn was that cryolipolysis was a noninvasive cooling technique that was safe and effective for treatment of submental fat. Findings did not reveal any reports of marginal mandibular nerve injury or paradoxical adipose hyperplasia following treatment with this device.
