Demirci NY, et al. - The diagnostic significance of smears and cell blocks (CB) underwent exploratory study for lung cancer subtypes. It was determined that the cell-block preparation after an endobronchial ultrasound-guided transbronchial needle aspiration (EBUS-TBNA) served as a simple technique which yielded crucial additional information regarding lung cancer for morphological analyses.
