Comparison of different intraocular pressure measurement techniques in normal eyes and post small incision lenticule extraction
Clinical Ophthalmology Aug 24, 2017
Hosny M, et al. – The goal of this research was to investigate the accuracy of intraocular pressure (IOP) measurement after small incision lenticule extraction (SMILE) using Goldmann applanation tonometry (GAT) and ocular response analyzer (ORA). The data revealed that SMILE resulted in a marked reduction in IOP measurement by ORA and GAT. Corneal biomechanics decreased after SMILE, which, in turn, associated with lenticule thickness.
