Comparison between central choroidal thickness in pregnant diabetic females and pregnant non-diabetic females

Shalaby HS, et al. - Researchers conducted this cross-sectional controlled study to compare choroidal thickness in pregnant women with and without diabetes mellitus (DM). Participants in the study were 60 pregnant females (60 eyes). Study participants were divided into two groups: Group A (30 patients; 30 eyes) were pregestational diabetic pregnant females, whereas Group B (30 patients; 30 eyes) were non-diabetic pregnant females. A thicker choroid is found in pregnant diabetic females than in pregnant non-diabetic females.
