Karlsson L, et al. – An observational study was performed to assess the cognitive impairment in adolescents and adults with congenital adrenal hyperplasia (CAH). It was observed in the findings that patients with CAH had normal psychometric intelligence but impaired executive functions compared with population controls. A null CAH genotype was correlated with poorer general cognitive capacity.
