de Souza Batista VE, et al. - This systematic review was conducted to assess the clinical viability of single implant-retained mandibular overdentures (SIMO). Based on the results it was noted that for completely edentulous patients, SIMO with a complete denture as the opposing arch could be considered as an alternative treatment.
